Although a little too windy for me!! I'm at the cabin and enjoyed my morning coffee watching the birds come to the feeder. No matter how long the feeder has been empty as soon as I fill it, the birds return to eat!
Had so much fun last night with Katie and Allie. We played 10,000, Pig, War and 31. Several games of each, and did a lot of giggling and laughing out loud. Everyone got a chance to win at something, although Allie had big problems with Pig. I think she got snake eyes 4 times and 3 were in the same game. Lots of fun was had by all.
The new cement floor was already poured when we got here yesterday, and the workers were still smoothing it out. I did take several pictures, but I left the cord to upload the pictures from the camera to the computer at home. I did email Doug, and he stopped at my house and got it.....but they won't be here till noon....so you'll have to wait to see the pictures. The girls also scratched their names into the edge of the floor and they wrote "Kiecker Kabin 7/1/10" in the corner for me. As soon as they start framing, you won't be able to see it, but we'll know it's there. It was pretty dry already when they did it, so they didn't scratch very deep. Anyway it's exciting to see it taking shape.
Constance was finally behaving yesterday, and I didn't have any problems during the night, although I did get up twice during the night and climbed those stairs to the bathroom, but only cause I drank too much water as I was playing cards. Hope she continues that throughout the weekend and week ahead.
Looking forward to the family and friends arriving and the parties to start! Love and prayers, m
