Sunny, Sunny Day!

The lake is like glass and the birds are singing in place of the carpenters who have the day off. My early rising workers were not hear to wake me this morning, so I actually slept past 7 a.m. Have big plans to go to the farmers market in Annandale and then to the swappers meet with Kathleen and Gary. We may even make it to Kimball and Knaus's meat market too!
Jason (Phil's son) came up last nite, so we had a chance to play some Spades. I even won a game....with Gary as my partner. Jason and I came close too! So it was a good evening.
Gary came back from town with a couple of baskets of raspberries, and then Kathleen risked her life by going back to the mosquito infested raspberry patch across the road, and got us another basket full. Needless to say they are all gone and they tasted terrific.
I'm feeling well, but still have not heard from Mayo.....don't imagine they will call over the weekend, but will hope for Monday or Tuesday before I leave on my camping trip to Wisconsin (God's country according to Gary). My cousin Judy is coming with us, so we have a 4-some for cards. It should be a great week.
Kathleen and I got to visit with my friend Dorene who stayed at Kathleen's house during the Utah winter olympics, and she lives on Sugar Lake near Annandale now. We also got to talk to Aunt Loretta yesterday on the phone, so it was a great day.
The cabin addition is really looking good....they really worked fast. They said they would be working on the roof connecting the two sides next week, so it's good we won't be here to be in the way....but Jimbo and gang will come up on Monday and start disassembling the deck down by the boat house which was part of the deal to get the permit. Not much else new....Keep those prayers coming so that Mayo calls soon. Love and prayers, m
