Round Ten, Day Three....Unplugged

Good Morning! It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.....I get unplugged today....and it could be the last time! Yippee!! Kathleen and I will drive back into the city this morning, make a stop up at the house after being unplugged, and maybe checkout the Riverfest in Anoka before coming back to the cabin.

Annie and Doug and family left last night, and Tom's family plus friends will leave this morning, except for Tom.....he is staying to help out with a few of the jobs that need to be done in preparation for the take-down of the deck next Monday. I think the Jim Kieckers may be on their way home today too! So we will be down to Kathleen, Gary, Tom and me. Thank goodness we have the noise of the workers or we'd be in silence....rare occasion here....and crazy as it sounds....I'll miss the noise of laughter and talking, screams from the kids on the tube behind the boat, and a few tears from the kids when they got tired, but totally a wonderful din. It's been a wild week....but today we have hot and cold running water in both the bathroom and the kitchen.....that is rare as well. We had tons of food....but barely a drop of water to drink! We just pretended we were camping and carried water and heated it for dishes....poured a lot into a purifying pitcher for drinking and found other things to drink as well. I can't even tell you how many plastic and glass containers we recycled, but I know it was at least 10 garbage bags full. We numbered between 20 and 35 or 40 all week long. So down to four will be too quiet for me.

Again I want to thank you for being such great and faithful spot removers. Love and prayers, m
