Round 10 Day 2 It's a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

What a gorgeous morning.....only I'm not listening to the birds.....I'm listening to the hammers framing the addition.....sweet!
Sorry I rushed out of here so fast yesterday. I had to be down to the city by 9 a.m. and I knew I'd be driving in rush hour traffic and had to take Hwy 55 all the way into 100, and it has about a gazillion traffic lights now When I was little there were traffic lights on Olson Hwy and then not again till you got to Buffalo. But I got there in time. Was a little late getting started, I had a small accident and knocked over the garbage barrel and had to stop and pick it up before we could leave....but all in all it only took about 1 hour and 10 minutes to get there. When I go back to get unplugged on Thursday, I'll take the same route, but there won't be as much traffic. Only bad thing is it takes only 10 minutes to get unplugged, and then I have to turn around and drive back to the cabin.
Kathleen accompanied me down yesterday, and then at about 11 a.m., Judy and Janet joined us for the last couple of hours. But Kathleen and I also had another visitor shortly after I got their and it was Imelda Neis. She was there for radiation and came over to visit. Kathleen and I had a nice visited reminiscing about old times etc.
When I was finally done around 1 p.m. Kathleen, Judy, Janet and I all went out for lunch at the Sunshine Factory (apropos) and ate and visited till 3:30, and when I got back in the car....my pump started beeping, and we couldn't figure out the error message it was giving....so we went back to the clinic to have them look at it. Then had never seen that error message, and got the book out on error messages and still couldn't figure it out. In the end they just removed the power pack and put it back in and it reset itself and stopped beeping. So Kathleen and I went merrilee on our way. First back to my house to mend Presley's blanky that she really didn't want to give up even for a few hours, then for a hot shower, cause the hot water isn't working at the cabin and then for the mail which I had put on hold and had delivered on Tuesday, cause I knew I'd be in town. So it was a productive trip.
When we got back to the cabin Gary (Kathleen's husband) had a wonderful asian dinner made for us. After dinner we just kind of sat around, and Gary, Kathleen, Tom and Phil got into a game of Spades. Kathleen and Gary had beat them last year and they were out to do it again this year.....or was that Tom and Phil were out to beat them this year.....well it didn't work....Kathleen and Gary are the champs.
Don't have big plans for the day. Phil and Gary were up early and went fishing. The rest of us are just watching the carpenter work.
I am adding a couple of pictures that I should have added earlier, but I didn't have the cord to connect my camera and computer.....so here they are:
