Trick or Treat!

I'm alive and well!! in Atlanta, and should be home this evening about the time you find the last kids at your door!!
I wasn't able to blog on Saturday, as we were at Joe and Sandy's. Had a great day before we got to Joe's. Gary missed a turn on our way to breakfast, and we ended up in Black Mountain at a Farmers Market. Kathleen and Gary love the town so much, that they think they'd like to retire there in a few years. It had a great farmers market. Fresh breads, veggies of all sorts, a petting zoo of sorts, chickens, bunnies, and a goat you could milk, as well as a demonstration of a dog herding some ducks. They even had some musicians playing music in the middle.
When we got to Joe and Sandi's we took them out for dinner at a great Mexican Restaurant near their house. Another great meal....we've all had to have gained weight, we've done nothing but eat at great restaurants.
When we got back to their house we played liar's dice and Sandi won the first game and Judy the second (notice it wasn't Gary either time) then we played Domino's (Train). Judy again won at Domino's and Gary didn't!!! I think this is an all time record of Gary losses. We played again on Sunday afternoon, and I won!!! Hurrah!! and Gary didn't!! What is this world coming too!
After a great bowl of soup that Sandi made, (not a restaurant...but great!) We headed into Atlanta, the last leg of the trip before having to return home. Judy and I got dropped off at our hotel....not the same as their hotel....and after settling into our room, we headed across the street to an Italian restaurant for dinner, and yes again it was great food. We've been lucky to eat our way across the south!!
Judy had to head out to the airport early, and I get to wait for Kathleen and Gary to pick me up around 10 a.m. and then we will head out and have lunch and make our way to the airport for late afternoon flights.
Tomorrow I'll be back to my regular schedule and will talk to you then!!! Love and prayers, m
