Happy Sunshiny Birthday to you Jack...They say the sun will come out....I hope!!! I couldn't find a picture of just Jack in the last year, so therefore a group photo, Jack, Ann, and Nick at the cabin. He's been a great kid, polite and loving all his life, and I couldn't have asked for a better grandchild. A great role-model for the other's that came after him.
I got up early this morning, but as usual got distracted by other projects, such as wrapping presents for this week's activities. I did place a call to Bonnie, and she is now well, and we are going shopping this afternoon. She will be here about 1 p.m., and I still have to get dressed, but think I'll make it in plenty of time.
Yesterday was a very productive day, and a fun afternoon too! Carol and Del picked me up at 4:30, and being the warm weather had softened the ground in the pot I had my one new snowman light that had survived the installation, now hit the dust. I guess it was just not meant to be! Funny, Bonnie and I skowered the Menards to find them in the first place, and then they were no longer on sale, but I bought them anyway, and now they are both gone. Maybe next year I'll try again. They were really cute.
When the mailman arrived, I got my boots I was waiting for, and they are perfect. Fit well, and so cute, I wore them to church and got lots of great comments on them. I love being a advertiser to Kick's shoes!!
Church was nice, I got to see a few people I hadn't seen in a while, and I got to pick up a few tags off the Christmas trees to buy presents for. Now today I'll shop for them.
Kathie Fritz joined us for dinner at Baker's Square, and we had a very fun conversation all during dinner. I also got to eat a great dinner, mashed potatoes and gravy along with chopped steak with mushrooms and I had been craving potatoes and gravy all day.
Tomorrow Bonnie and I are going to a "Chris and Dale" concert, and I'm really looking forward to it.....I love their music. Brings back lots of memories....when they sang at St. Tim's. Chris is now the music director at Cross of Christ next door to St. Tim's, and that is where the concert is tomorrow night. That's it for today. Love and Prayers, m
