But not really!! Just Karen, Tom and I here last night, and Karen got up early and went to coffee with Annie and Chris Sedesky. Then Tom got up and started putting together the new TV stand, which he wanted peace and quiet to do, and took him most of the morning....well all of the morning. While he was doing that I helped to unload all the stuff that was in the old stand with Tom's help. It had CD's, cassettes, photo albums, and all the stereo equipment, including turn table, CD player, dual cassette player, receiver, the Comcast digital converter and DVD player. The last two we had to move to the new stand which is a third of the size of the old one, and even though the TV is a 40 inch, the TV and Stand make the room look so much bigger. I can't imagine how big the living room is going to look when the Christmas Tree comes down.
When Tom got the stand finished and we had the old one emptied, Jimbo and Doug came to help move it to the garage, till the neighbor across the street comes to get it....I'm giving it to him along with the TV as I don't have room for another TV in the house. They are so good to me, I can't help but be happy they wanted it.
Jimbo and Ann left for the cabin from here, and Doug had to go home and take the kids ice skating, so he was off too. Then Bill came and spent the rest of the afternoon visiting with me and Tom, and Karen was home for a few minutes to change into warm clothes, to take the kids skating again at the CRIC outdoor rink.
Bill and Tom went to the Gear Daddy's concert at Medina this evening, leaving me alone till 10:30 p.m. when Karen and Presley came home to go to bed. I'm almost there too! It was a good day, and the house is starting to come together with my great new TV and stand. I love it!!
