Sorry this is so late, but I was late all day. I had warned Mary Ward who was picking me up, that she might have to pull me off the couch when she arrived at 8 a.m., as I hate early mornings So anyway the alarm went off at 7 a.m., and I thought to myself only 5 more minutes, but as the alarm on my clock is a radio, it didn't have a snooze alarm on it. At 8:15 I heard this voice coming down the hall towards my bedroom, and sure enough it was it was Mary. I jumped out of bed, got dressed, and headed for phone to call HHH and let them know that I would be there in 1/2 hour. I then made coffee for each of us, and a piece of toast for myself, and took my pills and put on my boots and ate the toast, drank some of the coffee, and but on my coat and headed to Mary's car. (She had the neighbor Jim across the street, open the garage for her and get into the house.)
I didn't realized the drive to HHH would be so horrible, and didn't get there till 9:45, only 1 hour and 15 minutes late for my appointment....thank goodness some had called in and cancelled, and others were as late as i was. The day went well, and Judy and I tied 2/2 at cribbage. So that was nice. She stopped at Cub for me to pick up the ingredients to make chicken and dumplings, that I have been craving since Mary Brue said she was fixing it on Sunday evening or was that Monday?
When I got home I immediately took a nap, and then got up and started fixing dinner around 7 p.m. and watched "The Voice" and again Nicolas David has made it to the finals! I'm so excited for him....a MN native, from Eden Prairie.
The dinner turned out great, and I think I'll have my second helping now. I'll write about tomorrow's plans in the morning. Till then, Love and Prayers, m
