Back to Mayo....but Supposedly in Sunshine.

They say we will have really cold temps but some sun....till maybe Friday.  BRRRRR!!!

Yesterday was a great day....did my shopping, got ready for the kids to come....made my cards for Bill and Nick and wrapped their gifts.  Then I went over to the wake for Cherie's brother.  Got to see a few that I hadn't seen in a few years....either at one of her daughter's weddings....or the funeral of her dad.  Cherie was surrounded by her friends when I arrived, 2 other principals, one of which I know from my "Valuing Your Sexuality" program I did for years....that was about 25 years ago. (I can't believe how old I'm getting) maybe it might be 20 years ago....but that doesn't make me feel any younger either.  Anyway back to the topic at hand....It was fun to see Ginny.

I came home and started making pizza's ....popping frozen ones into the oven.....I think I made about 6 all toll.  They did a good job a devouring them.  The best part of the evening was just having the family all there....all the Minnesota family here.  The cousins all get along so well, and I love watching them gather around the table with a constant conversation flying around the room, mixed with laughter.  They only joined the adults for singing happy birthday and opening of the presents.  Later today when I get back from Mayo I'll put a picture of the birthday boys on the blog.

Today I am making the trip back to Mayo, but it will be almost a month before I'm back there again.  This evening, I'll watch Biggest Loser but that's the only plans for the day.  Bonnie and Bob are waiting for me to arrive this morning, and Jimbo and Doug are taking me there.

Now it's time to shower and dress so I'm ready when the they arrive.  So lots of prayers and love, and please keep Bucky in your prayers.  Jimbo and Ann said last night that he will start chemo on Thursday.  m
