Warm and Comfy Here

Bonnie and I left pretty close to the goal time of 8 a.m., and had no problems driving to Naperville.  Kennedy had a hockey game at 4:30....so we drove right to the rink....thanks to GPS....and arrived before the game started....by about 45 minutes.

After driving in the car all day....Bonnie and I stood for that 45 minutes....and then only sat back down to watch.  It was a great game for the team....considering they are a U10 team and had to play a U12 team, and  at the end of the first period they were tied 2-2, and the goalie got sick, so another girl stood in front of the goal (without pads) for almost the whole second period till they could get another goalie from the U12 team fill in.  Kennedy got 3 assists and played great.  I think it was just for me....but she says not.

After the game we proceeded to the new store.....and I proceeded to buy new shoe's (Elaine....it does make me feel great!).  Actually 2 pair, one shoes and one boots, and then they gave me new moccasins and a pair of sorrels.  So I am in my glory!!!

After shopping in their new fantastic store....we came home for a great dinner and then what the kids have been waiting for since Dec. 25, they opened presents.  It was really fun, cause I got to watch them open them and I also got to open presents....more pictures for my barren cabin walls.  All the kids gave me pictures this year at my request, and they did such a great job of finding old pictures of their kids enjoying the cabin.  It's gonna look so nice!

This morning we are having a leisurely breakfast and will be out of here by 10 a.m. and heading for Lexington, KY.  It's cold here too!  But not as cold as MN.....and they don't have as much snow.  So all is well and we are now eating a great breakfast.  Love and prayers, m
