Here Comes the Sun!

I got up early again today as I have a lot to do before noon.  When I got up it was still dark and the Sun just came out.  They are talking about more snow.....but the cold is what is here now. The sun makes me feel good no matter how cold it is.

I did my shopping after church yesterday.....and pretty much got everything I wanted or needed to buy....but the furnace filters I bought aren't the size I need in the city....I only hope they are the right size for what I need at the cabin....or I'll have to exchange them....at least I now know what size I need for my furnace and I can go back and get them.

I went to several stores, Borders, Michaels, Target and Cub besides Home Depot....and I still got home to see the second half of the Viking game....but evidently I didn't miss much.  Kinda sad that I had to watch Brett standing on the sidelines not even in uniform for his last official game.  I'm pretty sure he will retire from playing, but it wouldn't surprise me if he didn't continue to do something with the game.  He loves it so much.

Today I will deliver Meals On Wheels, but will start with a funeral for the husband of my Avon lady when we moved to Coon Rapids, in 1964.  When she quite I took over her route, and they belonged to my church and shopped at Jensen's Super Value When I worked there.  So they were long time friends.  They sold their home just a few blocks from us back in the 90's and moved to Epiphany Pines, but they continued to come to St. Tims to church, and I usually sat near them.  But the last few years it has been too hard for them....as they got up their in age.  Bill was 87....very active in our parish, and I know he died peacefully and is with God.  Carol Kline, who helps me with Meals on Wheels also was a friend of theirs....so I will pick her up and we will go to the funeral, and then deliver our route.

Bucky had a better day yesterday but is getting tired of being in bed and the hospital food....must be getting close to time to go home.  Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

Must get ready to go....have to pick Carol up in 20 minutes.  Love and prayers, m
